Meet Leen Majed Al-Zinati, a spirited 23-year-old Palestinian hailing from the vibrant Gaza Strip. With an unwavering dedication to human rights, gender equality, and the upliftment of youth, Leen stands as a fierce advocate for positive change. Armed with a Law degree in English from Al-Azhar University, she fearlessly navigates the legal landscape as a trainee lawyer and adept translator. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge leads her to delve into extensive research on gender dynamics, youth empowerment, and the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. As a Gender and Culture Support Field Officer at UNESCO National Office for Palestine, she pioneers a gender-inclusive approach to the cultural realm in Gaza. With an unyielding vision of a just society, Leen aspires to cultivate a Palestinian community that champions gender equality, amplifies the voices of youth, and empowers women and girls in every facet of life, whether in times of tranquility or adversity.
