Robert (Bob) L. Atchison, is 64 years old. He has been a member of Manhattan Mennonite Church for where his spouse Melissa serves as pastor. Bob toured the West Bank in 1998 with the Christian Peacemakers Team spending most of his time in Hebron. He has been working on bringing peace and justice to Palestine periodically since then. Most recently with the Youth Vision Society in Gaza. He serves on the Steering Committee for MennoPIN the Mennonite Palestine Israel Network and Mennonite Church USA’s Western District Conference Israel-Palestine Task Force. He is a recently retired forester with the Kansas Forest Service at Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas. Bob is the father of four children, two through adoption and has been married for 40 years. He plays old-time fiddle, banjo and Americana music.
